The Orphange and a Card

Before I post the card of the day I want to tell you about an orphanage in Mexico that a friend of my daughter tries to raise money for. Last year he raised enough money to buy every child a bike and helmet. Things were going well for the orphanage until the hurricane hit Sept 14th and many of the buildings were destroyed. Adam is now trying to raise money to replace some of the buildings, including their sleeping arrangements.  Here is the link to read about the orphanage and the terrible damage the storm did. http://www.youcaring.com/other/rebuilding-the-orphanage-hurricane-relief-fund-la-paz-mx/237531

Even if you can’t spare a dime to help, could you please post this on your Facebook page in case others want to donate. Thanks.

And now the card. This card would be good for either a teenage boy or girl who is into music.

These are all Inkadinkado stamps which were embossed with black embossing powder and then Distress inks were sponged all around it. The stars in the four corners are brads which I attached first and then glued the card to the card base. Pretty quick card to put together actually.

This was another busy day and this lady is ready to flop down for the night so that’s it for a Tuesday!

Cheers
Violet
